Switch 2 sales drop 87% in Japan following surge ahead of cost revisions
Nintendo Switch 2 sales in Japan dropped by 87% following a surge in demand before a price increase on May 25. The original Nintendo Switch also saw a significant sales decline after its price adjustment. Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa cited rising component costs and foreign exchange trends as reasons for the price hikes.
