New tests from RTings indicate that newer, brighter OLED TVs manufactured between 2020 and 2023 do not show significant improvements in burn-in resistance compared to a 2017 LG model. The increased brightness appears to offset any advancements in mitigation technology. While this represents a worst-case scenario, users with static-heavy content can reduce brightness to mitigate burn-in.
