The big Dino Update for Dwarf Fortress announced for June 25
Bay 12 Games announced a major update for Dwarf Fortress, scheduled for June 25th, which will introduce a wide variety of dinosaurs and extinct creatures from different geological eras. The update includes new content such as baby and "dinomen" versions, the ability to use dinosaurs for war, pets, or food, and five new settings to control their appearance. While a new world is recommended to experience the dinosaurs, existing saves should see the animal people graphical update.
