The cost of physical Nintendo games is not going up, but we are going to start paying less for digital versions of its first-party titles
Nintendo has clarified its new pricing model for first-party Nintendo Switch games, stating that physical copies will not increase in price. Instead, digital versions will be sold at a lower MSRP than their physical counterparts, a change intended to reflect the costs of physical production and distribution. The first game to adopt this model will be Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, launching May 21st.
