A previously considered script for The Flash, written by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, featured a Bruce Wayne who never became Batman, instead existing as a billionaire party boy. While this element did not make it into the final film, which used Michael Keaton's Batman, the writers believe their version would have made more sense within the movie's alternate reality.
