The Harry Potter show won't release a season a year, and everyone is united in saying that's a bad idea
HBO chief Casey Bloys confirmed that releasing one season of the new Harry Potter TV series per year is not feasible due to the complex production involved. While an annual release would align with the book-per-season structure, the show is expected to take many years to complete, similar to the original film adaptations. The series is slated to premiere in 2027.
