The Last of Us season 3 is adding The Batman star as another show-original Seraphite character

Peter Sarsgaard has been cast as Amon, a new Seraphite leader in HBO's The Last of Us season 3. This character is original to the show and does not appear in the Naughty Dog game. Production for season 3 began in March and is expected to continue until late 2026, with a premiere anticipated in 2027.
