The Long Dark comes to an end today, except it's not "the end" only "an end"
Hinterland Studio has released the fifth and final episode of The Long Dark's story mode, titled 'The Light at the End of All Things'. CEO Raphael van Lierop clarified that while this marks the end of this development phase and the promised story content, it is not the end of meaningful development for the game itself, with future plans including ongoing support and a sequel, Blackfrost: The Long Dark 2.
