The National Videogame Museum has acquired the mythical Nintendo Playstation
The National Videogame Museum has acquired a rare Nintendo PlayStation prototype, the original development system for Sony's planned Super NES CD-ROM attachment. This collaboration between Sony and Nintendo ultimately did not come to fruition, leading Sony to develop its own PlayStation console. The acquired unit is believed to be the only one of its kind still in existence.
