The Outer Worlds Will Offer Free PS5 Remaster Upgrade Amidst Delistings and Price Drops

Obsidian Entertainment announced that players who own the base version of The Outer Worlds on PlayStation 4 before May 27, 2026, will receive a free upgrade to the Spacer's Choice Edition on PlayStation 5. The original version will be delisted from most storefronts on that date, with permanent price drops coming to the Spacer's Choice Edition. New patches are also being released to address performance and gameplay issues in the Spacer's Choice Edition.
