Facepunch Studios, led by Garry Newman, announced a new licensing deal with Valve that will allow creators to publish their S&box creations as standalone Steam games without paying Facepunch a fee. S&box, a spiritual successor to Garry's Mod built on the Source 2 engine, is set to release on April 28th and will support features like visual scripting and VR. The first game to be released using this system will be My Summer Cottage.
