The Sinking City 2 shifts focus towards survival horror and combat, moving away from the original's heavy emphasis on investigation. Developed by Frogwares amidst challenging circumstances, the sequel features significant graphical improvements and modernized gameplay mechanics reminiscent of modern Resident Evil titles. The game is set to release in summer.
