The steam train world speed record has stood for 86 years: yes, you can beat it in the new Thomas the Tank Engine game
In the newly released game Thomas & Friends: Wonders of Sodor, players have reportedly surpassed the real-world steam train speed record of 126 mph set by the Mallard in 1938. One player achieved 143 mph with the character Percy. Dovetail Games developed the train simulation title.
