This might be the most valuable Pokemon card ever made, and it just sold for over $1m
A rare "Pikachu Illustrator" Pokemon card, one of only 39 distributed, sold for $1,406,250 at Heritage Auctions. This card, created in 1998 and featuring a unique pen symbol and the word 'Illustrator', is considered the most valuable card ever sold at auction. The artist behind the card, Atsuko Nishida, also designed original Pokemon like Pikachu and Charmander.
