Ubisoft is making the first singleplayer Rainbow Six in 19 years, and it's a tactics game in the style of XCOM
Ubisoft announced Rainbow Six Tactics, a single-player turn-based tactics game in the style of XCOM, set to release in 2027. The game features operators from Rainbow Six Siege and Rainbow Six Vegas, with a story focusing on the rebuilding of Rainbow after Year 10 events. It will not include live-service elements and will feature operator development and base building mechanics.
