The core development team behind Ubisoft's Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has reportedly been given permission by Ubisoft to reform and pitch new game ideas. This comes after the studio was allegedly dissolved following the game's release. The team previously worked on the critically acclaimed Metroidvania title and was also involved in the canceled remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.
