Using your phone while it’s plugged in won’t destroy the battery — here’s why
Using a smartphone while it is plugged in does not inherently damage the battery due to a technology called bypass charging. This feature reroutes power to run the device directly, pausing battery recharging and mitigating heat buildup, which is the primary cause of battery degradation. While bypass charging is common in many Android phones, Apple iPhones do not currently support it.
