Valheim to Cost $10 More With Update 1.0, Fate of the Ocean Biome Remains Unknown
Valheim will increase in price from $20 to $30 on September 9 with the launch of its 1.0 update, which also introduces the new Deep North biome. The game will also debut on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch alongside its existing availability on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. The fate of the Ocean biome remains uncertain, with developer Iron Gate stating they are observing player feedback before committing to further content additions.
