VisionQuest showrunner Terry Matalas revealed that the Disney Plus series is inspired by two key MCU scenes: the final moments of Vision in Avengers: Age of Ultron and the Ship of Theseus discussion in WandaVision. Kevin Feige's only mandate for the show was that it tells Vision's story and that he would meet his son, with Matalas given creative freedom for the rest.
