4A Games has revealed Metro 2039, a single-player horror-shooter set in a nuclear-ravaged Moscow and told from a Ukrainian perspective, drawing parallels to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The game features a new protagonist, The Stranger, facing mutated monsters and a new regime called the Novoreich, with a darker tone and psychological horror elements. It is set for release this Winter and collaborates with original Metro series author Dmitry Glukhovsky.
