WarioWare director Goro Abe has retired from Nintendo
Goro Abe, director of the WarioWare series, has retired from Nintendo after joining the company in 1999. He will begin a new role as a professor at Osaka Electro-Communication University in April, focusing on game-related research and production. Abe's departure follows other notable exits from Nintendo, including Kensuke Tanabe and Hideki Konno.
