We finally know what happened to the original Star Fox puppets – the Godzilla Minus One studio destroyed them
The original Star Fox puppets, used for marketing materials, were destroyed due to deterioration of their rubber and fur construction, according to the Godzilla Minus One studio Shirogumi. While one set was intentionally discarded after production, the fate of another set, used for the SNES box art, remains uncertain, with one former Nintendo employee recalling seeing them about 15 years ago.
