Fortnite Save the World will become free to play on April 16, 2026, on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. New purchases of the game have been paused as of March 11. Players can pre-register to earn rewards if community milestones are met, and existing players will receive bonus items.
