Producer Larry Houston stated that fans will not have to wait two years for X-Men '97 season 3, as lessons have been learned from the delay between seasons 1 and 2. Both seasons 3 and 4 are already in production, with Marvel TV head Brad Winderbaum confirming that X-Men '97 and Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man will receive new seasons annually. Season 2 of X-Men '97 is set to premiere on Disney Plus on July 1, 2024.
