Zelda Movie Filming At Same Locations As The Lord Of The Rings, And People Are Excited
The upcoming live-action The Legend of Zelda movie is filming in New Zealand, utilizing some of the same scenic locations as Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Director Wes Ball aims to create a serious film that fulfills fans' desires for the franchise. The movie, a joint production between Nintendo and Sony Pictures, is set for a May 2027 release.
