GAMESCOM NEWS: Stylish indie cel-shaded adventure game launches on Nintendo Switch and Steam this spring
Astronaut Diaries Limited and Ninja Kiwi announced that their debut title, Denari, a cel-shaded isometric action game, will launch on Nintendo Switch and Steam on March 24, 2027. The game features telekinetic combat abilities and a narrative inspired by indigenous and immigrant experiences in New Zealand. A playable demo will be available at Gamescom 2026.

Ninja Kiwi and Astronaut Diaries Limited have announced Denari, a cel-shaded isometric action game for the Nintendo Switch, set to release on March 24, 2027. Players control Taiu, a young warrior using telekinetic abilities to fight a magitech empire, with combat mechanics focused on turning enemy strengths into player advantages. The game features a narrative shaped by hardship and loss, alongside an original soundtrack by David Mason with vocals from Emi Evans.
