Helldivers 2 Studio CEO Acknowledges it “Underinvested” in Technology by Using Stingray Engine

Arrowhead Game Studios CEO Shams Jorjani acknowledged that the studio "underinvested" in the technology powering Helldivers 2, which is built on the outdated Autodesk Stingray engine. Despite ongoing technical and performance issues, Jorjani stated that improvements are being made to the engine to ensure the game's longevity as a "forever game."
