Phasmophobia developer Kinetic Games is expanding into publishing, announcing several new titles. These include Crescent County, a magic-tech delivery game; Shellbound, a parasitic Metroidvania; Contact Protocol, a retrofuturistic spaceship security game; and Aether Wizard Life, a mage apprentice simulator. Kinetic Games also announced a partnership with Sam Barlow for his next game, featuring Brandon Cronenberg.

Kinetic Publishing and Electric Saint have revealed Crescent County, a slice-of-life game set to launch on Nintendo Switch 2 in Summer 2027. Players will explore a witch-tech open world as Lu, a young adult navigating a new place, focusing on motorbroom deliveries, customization, racing, and forming relationships.

The Limit Break mentorship program, aimed at supporting under-represented groups in the UK and Irish games industry, has opened applications for its 2026 cohort. Founded in 2019, the program supports individuals from marginalized genders, orientations, ethnicities, as well as neurodiverse people and those with disabilities. The 2026 program will introduce new initiatives like virtual onboarding and a track for aspiring game business founders.
