Mastodon has released a new single titled "Your Ghost Again," their first new music since last year. Drummer Brann Dailor described the song as being about the lingering presence of lost loved ones. The platform's head of communications, Andy Piper, described the incident as significant, but countermeasures were implemented, and service has largely been restored. This follows a similar DDoS attack on the decentralized platform Bluesky the previous week.
