D-Topia review: Slice of sci-fi life

D-Topia is a cozy simulation game from Annapurna Interactive and Matumittu Games that explores a future run by AI, but its themes feel underdeveloped. Players take on the role of Shiro, a Facilitator ensuring machines run smoothly and interacting with residents. While the game offers fun logic puzzles during work shifts and in maintenance modes, its narrative and character interactions, particularly the 'Brain Meeting' mechanic, lack depth and fail to fully explore its interesting sci-fi concepts. D-Topia is available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
