Bandai Namco Mega Kawaii Mart Pop-Up Opens in Chicago
Bandai Namco is opening a "Mega Kawaii Mart" pop-up shop at Mitsuwa Marketplace in Arlington Heights, Illinois, starting May 15, 2026. The shop will feature MegaHouse anime figures and merchandise from brands like Naruto, One Piece, Jujutsu Kaisen, and My Hero Academia, including special Mega Cat Project items. A mascot character appearance is scheduled for the opening weekend.
Precious G.E.M. Series Ichigo Kurosaki Bleach Figure Returns
Bandai Namco's MegaHouse brand is rereleasing the Precious G.E.M. Series figure of Ichigo Kurosaki, based on his appearance in Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War. The figure, standing nearly 10 inches tall and depicting his Bankai Tensazagetsu, is expected to ship worldwide in November 2026. This follows a limited release in January 2024, with pre-orders now available for the $253.32 collectible.
New Tetris Board Game and Rubik’s Cube Revealed
MegaHouse has announced two new Tetris-themed physical games: the Tetris Board Game and the Tetris Rubik’s Cube, both set to release in Japan in late April 2026. The board game supports up to four players with scoring based on completing lines, while the Rubik's Cube challenges players to form Tetriminos on its sides. Digital versions of Tetris are available on multiple platforms including PC, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
Digimon Adventure Angemon and TK and Angewomon and Kairi Figures Return
Bandai Namco's MegaHouse brand is rereleasing the Digimon Adventure GEM Series figures of Angemon with TK Takaishi and Angewomon with Kari Kamiya. These figures, originally released in 2016, will be available again in July and August 2026, respectively, for ¥19,800 each. This rerelease coincides with the 25th anniversary of Digimon Adventure.
