Merge Conflict Studio announced that Gemporium: A Cute Mining Sim will receive a free anniversary update and a new paid DLC, Amber & Amulets, on August 6 for PC via Steam. The free update adds The Bazaar with new characters and cosmetics, while the DLC introduces a new mine layer, amber panning, and a story inspired by Scottish folklore. The studio also emphasized their commitment to not using generative AI in development.
