Shochiku Games and Crossbridge Game have announced Moomin: Midsummer Madness for Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2, with a release date set for November 12, 2026. This hand-painted point-and-click adventure is inspired by Tove Jansson’s novel Moominsummer Madness and follows Moomintroll and Little My as they navigate a mysterious floating theatre after a flood.

Moomintroll: Winter's Warmth, a cozy puzzle adventure game developed by Hyper Games, has launched on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch for $19.99 USD. The game is inspired by Tove Jansson's Moomin stories and follows Moomintroll on a quest to save Moominvalley from the cold by forging friendships. A physical edition is planned for later this year, and a Nintendo Switch 2 version will be released as a free upgrade.
