Sony faces an anti-trust complaint in Mexico over ending PlayStation physical media
Sony is facing an anti-trust complaint in Mexico over its decision to end PlayStation disc manufacturing by January 2028. Federal Representative Iraís Reyes and Senator Luis Donaldo Colosio are filing the complaint, arguing the move is anti-competitive and anti-consumer. They believe it will force consumers to buy games exclusively through Sony's digital store, harming retailers and eliminating price competition.
