Solana Trims Block Slot Time to 350ms — Its First Speed Cut Ever

Solana has reduced its mainnet slot time from 400 milliseconds to 350 milliseconds, marking the first speed cut in its history. This change is the initial phase of a four-stage plan aiming for a 200ms slot time, with each step requiring validator approval.
