Nightborn is a forthcoming indie detective RPG that blends gothic vampire themes with the gameplay mechanics of L.A. Noire, aiming to capture the spirit of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Developed by Occupational Hazard, the game is set in New Orleans and features players as a vampire detective investigating the disappearance of their Maker. It is slated for release in Q4 2027 on Steam for PC.
