Fan fiction website AO3 is finally coming out of beta
The fan fiction website Archive of Our Own (AO3), operated by the nonprofit Organization for Transformative Works, has officially exited its open beta phase after 17 years. The platform has grown significantly since its 2009 launch, now hosting 17 million works for 10 million registered users. Key features like its tagging system, 'Orphaning' function, and offline download options have been highlighted, with ongoing improvements promised.
