Pan Studio announced that the free-to-play title Duet Night Abyss will receive its major update, The Firmament Unbound, on April 7, 2026. This update concludes the Huaxu storyline and introduces five new regions, new traversal options, and challenging boss encounters. Two new playable characters, Su Yi and Camilla, will be added, along with new customization options, weapon skins, and a skin upgrade system. The update will also coincide with the game's half-anniversary celebration featuring limited-time events.
After Infecting PCs With Malware, Gacha Game Gives Out Free Loot Boxes To Apologize
The developers of the gacha RPG Duet Night Abyss, Pan Studio, have apologized for a cybersecurity incident that infected players' PCs with malware via a game launcher update patch. The malware, identified as Trojan:MSIL/UmbralStealer.DG!MTB, is an infostealer. In response, Pan Studio is offering players 10 free gacha pulls and other in-game rewards as compensation.
