Rockstar asks modders to please take its games very seriously

Rockstar Games has released new modding guidelines, primarily targeting its FiveM and RedM platforms, to ensure mods respect its games and brand. The rules prohibit modifications that alter official storylines, combine franchises, incorporate third-party intellectual property, or interfere with online services. While Rockstar aims to control monetization through its official platforms, enforcing these rules on third-party sites remains a challenge.
