PlayStation Shutting Something Else Down, But It's Not a Studio This Time
Sony Interactive Entertainment is shutting down the tournament website Repeat.gg, which it acquired in July 2022. This closure follows recent studio shutdowns by the company, including Bluepoint Games, Dark Owl Games, PixelOpus, and London Studio. Repeat.gg was part of PlayStation's earlier push into the fighting game esports scene, which also included the acquisition of the Evo tournament.
