Chinese developer Spark Nexa is creating an MMORPG adaptation of the 2018 Chinese novel Lord of Mysteries. The game is set in an alternate Victorian-era gaslamp world filled with airships, steam tech, magic, and eldritch threats. Players awaken as Beyonders in the city of Tingen, tasked with guarding against an otherworldly apocalypse.
