Publisher HarperCollins is partnering with AI animation studio Toonstar to adapt book franchises into digital shows. The first project will be an adaptation of Lisa Greenwald's "Friendship List" series. Toonstar claims its AI technology can produce animated episodes significantly faster and cheaper than traditional methods.
