BOE's new $9 billion OLED monitor plant, capable of churning out 10 million panels this year alone, is now up and running—with some big names already on board
Display manufacturer BOE has begun mass production at its new 8.6-generation OLED plant in Chengdu, China, which cost approximately $9.3 billion. The facility is capable of producing 10 million OLED panels this year, with major tech companies like Asus, Lenovo, and MSI already on board to use the panels for their products, including high-end gaming laptops with 240 Hz refresh rates.
