Games will once again help protect the oceans. World Ocean Day Festival returns to Steam
The World Ocean Day Festival returns to Steam from June 4th-11th, 2026, featuring a game sale and charity initiative by Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC) to support marine life. The city-builder game Life Below, developed by Megapop and featuring writing by Rhianna Pratchett, is releasing a special $5 charity pack. 100% of net revenue from this pack will go to Whale and Dolphin Conservation, adding new dolphin and porpoise species to the game. The base game, which focuses on building coral reefs to revive marine ecosystems, will cost $30.

A special supporter pack, with 100% of net revenue going to WDC, will introduce unique dolphin and porpoise species to the game. Life Below is set to launch on Steam for Windows PC on May 26, 2026.
