Producer J.J. Abrams has confirmed that the upcoming horror film The End of Oak Street is not directly connected to the Cloverfield franchise, despite fan theories. Abrams clarified that the only link is Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who starred in 10 Cloverfield Lane, appearing in the film. The movie, which features dinosaurs, is set to be released on August 14.
