A prequel novel focusing on the character Astarion from Baldur's Gate 3, titled 'Baldur's Gate 3: Astarion,' will be released on September 29, penned by T. Kingfisher. Wizards of the Coast and Random House Worlds have announced an official prequel novel for Baldur's Gate 3's character Astarion, titled Baldur's Gate 3: Astarion, set to release in September. The novel is being written by author T. Kingfisher, known for her work on themes of abuse and trauma, and the audiobook version will be narrated by Astarion's voice actor, Neil Newbon.
