BioMenace Remastered in the works for Nintendo Switch – MS-DOS game returns
Rigel Gameworks has announced that BioMenace Remastered, a modernized version of the classic MS-DOS run-and-gun platformer, will be released on Nintendo Switch on October 8, 2026. The remaster features enhanced graphics, refined gameplay, quality-of-life improvements, and a new fourth episode with over 15 levels.

The classic 1993 MS-DOS side-scroller Bio Menace has been unofficially ported to the Amiga by Astair86, featuring all three original episodes. The port is free to enjoy, as Apogee Software reclassified the game as freeware in 2018. While the port runs on Amiga hardware with Kickstart 2.0 and 1MB of RAM, Amiga 1200 users need to use the numeric keypad for movement due to potential key-jamming issues.
