miHoYo has announced that the Genshin Impact Snezhnaya expansion will launch on August 12, 2026, as a free update for all existing players. This seventh major region, representing the Nation of Cryo, will be available simultaneously on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, iOS, and Android devices. The update introduces new gameplay mechanics centered on preservation and cold, alongside technical improvements and the resolution of the Teyvat storyline.
