Go-Go Town!, a city builder developed by Prideful Sloth, will officially launch on July 16, 2026, after two years in Early Access. The game will be available on PC and Nintendo Switch, featuring a new sandbox mode. Since its Early Access launch, the game has received numerous updates, including couch co-op and a collaboration with Dinkum.

The Wholesome Direct, part of Summer Game Fest 2026, showcased numerous cozy games with new announcements and release dates. The puzzle game Momento received a shadowdrop release on PC today, with console versions to follow. Japan: Nintendo Indie World announces its 17 game line up for BitSummit
Nintendo has announced its lineup of 17 indie games that will be showcased at the upcoming BitSummit event in Kyoto. The titles, divided into multiplayer and single-player experiences, include "Heave Ho 2," "Unrailed 2," "Moonlighter 2," and "Ratatan," among others. The event is scheduled to take place from May 22-24, 2026.
Overthrown Launches Tomorrow with Special Go-Go Town Bundle
The city builder game Overthrown is launching into version 1.0 tomorrow, March 20th, and is partnering with Go-Go Town for a special Steam bundle offering a 10% discount on both titles. Overthrown, which features kingdom management with a unique crown mechanic for moving objects, is exiting Early Access after a successful run. Go-Go Town offers a more grounded approach to municipal management, and the bundle aims to help both indie titles reach a wider audience.
March Nintendo Indie World Covers Switch and Switch 2 Games
Nintendo will host its first Indie World showcase of 2026 on March 3rd, covering upcoming indie games for both the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. The presentation is expected to be around 15 minutes long and will focus exclusively on "Nindies." Previous showcases have featured shadowdrop titles and updates on previously announced games.
