Grim Trials – Heavy Metal Mayhem Hits The Afterlife
Grim Trials, an action roguelite combining heavy metal aesthetics with Hades-style gameplay, is now available on Xbox Series X|S, PC, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch for £16.74. Players control Avelin, who must fight through the afterlife to become a Reaper and reunite with her loved one. The game features customizable weapons, a skill tree, and randomized blessings, with progression carrying over between runs.

Grim Trials coming to Nintendo Switch 2
Soft Source and Glory Jam announced that their heavy metal action roguelite, Grim Trials, will launch on August 20, 2026, for Nintendo Switch. A demo is currently available on the Nintendo eShop. The game features customizable weapons, crafting, and a narrative where players explore the afterlife as a Reaper named Avelin.

Grim Trials, an action RPG, is available on Steam for PC. The game allows players to hack and blast their way through the Academy, a training ground for aspiring Grim Reapers, and offers opportunities to befriend characters.
